World War I and World War II weren't fighting for Canada's existance or anything... neither is Afghanistan today, and I'd fight those wars.

If this country's existance was at stake, I'd be first in line.

I remember back in juniorhigh/highschool when a teacher asked us all where we were from? (our imediate background or something along those lines or worded similairly.) anyways, out of 30-40 kids only one mentioned canada as a part of their heritage. pretty sad. (keeping in mind all of us were 3-4th gen Canadian citizens.) If your you live in Canada and are willing to fight you fight for Canada. period.

I wouldnt fight at all, to many innocent people get killed in war, im not about that, only thing I would do is be a sniper just to shoot corrupt diplomats.

hmmm i came here about 8 years ago and dont really have family here, just friends. not saying that i hate canada or anything and that i wouldnt fight for my current home but....i could not imagine shooting at the homeland thinking there might be another family member of mine (uncle, cuzin...) on the other side.

i think i would stay out of it because ive been in war before (from former yugoslavia) and i experienced having to dodge bullets and loose family/friends/home, war is not something you would want ever

My family escaped from my native land for a reason and Canada was the one that welcomed us in. I owe everything to Canada, not to my homeland.
