Its a racecar with a BMW engine, I know that for a fact

Its an Audi R8, part of the french hillclimb championship. There is a site with a pile of video for it. Just can't remember.

Know for a fact it is a BMW? How?

It's not an Audi. Audi doesn't exactly just give out R8s to whoever feels like running one in a hillclimb.

It's a custom-built BMW-powered car.

EDIT I might also add this is easily the most reposted video here and pretty much any other forum I'm a member of. Why? Don't really know...

I Stand Corrected, the car is a Norma M20, and it is a BMW motor, guess I was mislead!


Audi has sold about 12 R8's to the private sector and they do get run in hillclimbs
