Refurbished Ipods
Apple is selling refurbished ipods right now. $229 canadian dollars for a 30 gig. I ordered one and it arrived with everything that the new ipod does and it looked absolutely perfect, no scratches or blemishes and in the apple plastic. They also come with the apple warranty. Just letting everyone know as i thought this was a pretty good deal. I couldn't be happier with mine. Here is the link:

Damn thats crazy, the apple reconditioned products are essentially new. They replace all the casings and everything. When you send your iPod in to get it fixed they usually just send you those!

Haha go check the 'recent purchases' thread and note my post from 3/4 days ago. I checked out all the forums and info. Refurbed is the way to go.
I love how it's essentially hidden at the bottem of the shop page though and they're not advertising it. Good on Apple to do something like this, but obviously they don't want toooo many people to take them up on it. Gotta sell new pods also.

The 30 gigs on the American version are $199.99.
I checked that out before I bought as well. Wanted to get the 'too good to be true' stars out of my eyes first.

I bought the 60GB about two weeks ago. It was as new and arrived very quickly. The headphones were damaged pretty badly - but they quickly sent a replacement pair.
I added a automatic transcoder to my MythTV PVR - adds the shows to a video podcast in iTunes!

^ My last one lasted 8 months. Two times i've sent the POS back to Apple. 20gig btw. Absolute garbage product (2nd gen iirc, with the crap battery). Apple customer service and their warranty program are incredible though. The warranty lapsed on my 1st ipod and the support guy stayed 30 mins past their closing time to set me up with a new ipod. With my new one, i put the request in that it was fucked, and 2 days later the box came, 3 days later i had a new Ipod.
Also, if your sending it back, make sure your songs are backed up every now and then, i lost just under 4000 this time around

yeah i gurantee they will go, my brothers went out the first day :S...if ya just want some cheap headphones get the sony headphones that are 16.99 at Futureshop or BB. Good price for earbuds that sound good and last. Or listen to FiveFreshFish and get some that'll sound friggin good. currently im using the DJ Sony set. THey were about 70 bux when i bought them but still better than then the basic headphones.
