    Default Court Summons

Hey guys, my friend was pulled over on macleod for doing 110 in a 60 zone. He received a court summons and the police said that it's possible that he will lose his license. My friend claims that theres no way he was even doing over 90... is there anyway to fight the claim the police made? I'm unfamiliar with this as i've personally never even received a speeding ticket. Any advice that i could pass to my friend would be appreciated.

Tell your friend to read the options on the back of the ticket. That explains everyhing.

Fight the claim? Even 90 in a 60 is excessive. Sorry but I tend to believe the man who:
    1. Does this (traffic law enforcement) for a living-which includes a lot of training.
    2. Was using sophisticated speed-sensing equipment more accurate than a speedometer.
    3. Is totally un-biased as to the circumstances of the situation EXCEPT for the facts- said car was recorded at said speed on said date at said location.
Here's a little trick I use to avoid speeding tickets-obey the posted limit! Tell your friend-it could save him a little (OK a lot) of cash plus his licence plus his insurance rates.
