Wow.
It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice.
you know its a great world when you have to drive around in something that ugly to feel safe
I assume that they are primarily for military use and dont think anyone will buy one for personal use "just to feel safe".Originally posted by Evro

Could be solid fill tires or solid tires or there are also other options out there for air and air-less applications.

Nothing that has meaning is easy. "Easy" doesn't enter into grown-up life... everday we live, hard its a strife... good thing right now I don't have a wife
As Kanye say, nothings ever promised tommorow today
1) I think they were just making shit up when they say the CF is buying these, I've never heard any of my army friends mention it, and believe me with the Canadian Army, when we buy new shit, it's like fricking XMAS, everyone knows. For a new vehicle there's always a process of trials, evaluation etc, and I've never heard of that happening with this either. Granted we've sped up the process recently but it hasn't been completely eliminated, We bought a crapload of RG-31 Nyalas recently, but we already had small amounts of those from years back, and they do the same job that this thing supposedly does.
2) There was nothing wrong with the Iltis, it does everything it was suppose to do quite well (and it was a stick shift too). They had to be replaced anyway because they were like 25 yrs old, and driven HARD (shows you how tough the vehicles were). It was just never meant to be used as a tank, and neither is the G-wagen. The Iltis that got taken out in Afghanistan was taken out by an AT mine, which would have taken out a TANK if that's what hit it.
3) Milverado is strictly for use in Canada during peacetime, before we just used blue rental Silverados. They don't have any armour or anything. Of course that's what they said about the Cougar armoured car too. "To be used for training in Canada only". Ha ha. I'm sure the guys in Yugo laughed about it when they were riding around in these "Use in Canada only" "armoured" cars that wouldn't stop anything bigger than a 9mm pistol.
looks like an armoured/protected turret.
yes, they already have a lot of g wagons, when ever i watch the news they have one sitting in the background when there's an interview with soldiers in afghanistan.Originally posted by RickDaTuner
