    Most likely they've reinforced the sidewall of the tires with steel belts which will actually make them bulletproof. But I bet these things will sell in the hood like wildfire.

    I am sure they have run flats. They used a plastic composite disk under the tire looks like metal but is super light even if a tire comes right off it allows for about 80kph.

    There are a bunch of the Iltis going up for sale at auction. I bet they are going for dirt cheap as they have pretty limited use for the average Canadian.

    They are pretty fun in the bush. One hand on the roof and one on the dash.
