    Default Racelogic Traction Control

Anybody here have any experiences or heard much about it from others?

I'm considering purchasing it in a group buy.
Just wondering if anyone locally can give me an opinion.

The price is pretty steep, and an LSD would do a lot of the functions that this does.

It does a whoollle lot more than an LSD, read into it a bit more, i dont really wanna repeat what the website says.
Its the equivalent of letting off the throttle when losing traction but does it without dropping rpm's and does it ALOT faster and in tiny intervals...basically does it perfectly, while you keep your foot planted on the gas.

True enough, although I don't see a need for it on many of the cars on here.

Acceleration is the only positive aspect that I would buy for, but that can be achieved more reliably with an LSD.

If you have some serious traction issues (hondas dont ), then I could see why you would buy this...although I could think of many better ways to spend ~2500 after all is said and done.

He might have serious traction issues with his built fd rx-7 single turbo conversion. And yes it isn't a honda

id personally spend the 2500 on driving training and track time...a good driver without all the technology is still better than a bad driver with this stuff.

    Ditto.

Joe, you want it for function, or bling?

Loose, you know me better than that. I dont buy shit for bling until the function is taken care of first!
Again, im not paying 2500 for it. Try less than half that.
And i've driven nosoup's old supra many times before...quite the task trying to keep the car going straight in the first two gears. And honestly, not alot of fun until 3rd gear beacause all you do i spin the tires even with 275's (which im also running on the back). I agree nothing is better than driving time, which i will have with and without the traction control turned on. Honestly, the main lure of the product is the fact that i'll be able to accelerate hard without going sideways. And if i want to get sideways..simply turn it off!

But a good driver with this tech will make their driving experience that much more entertaining
I see it this way...everything we add onto our cars as mods has the main purpose of either (1) going faster (ie: increasing performance or finding more performance one way or another), or (2) looking better. Remember, one thing here, power is nothing without control, and in this case, traction.
