old undeveloped film...

i have 2 old undeveloped film that i just found cleaning my room. they're from 2002 and contain pictures from my birthday camping trip. is it possible to still get developed?

Is it colour film? Most colour films generally have a shelf life at room temperature of less than 2 years from when it was made/shipped. Seeing's how it's been sitting in your room for atleast 4 years, the film is almost certainly expired. There's nothing preventing you from getting it developed, but there will likely be some sort of colour shift throughout the film. I'd get them done just to see what it looks like! I've seen all kinds of stuff from expired film ranging from really neat looking effects to hideous and unrecognizable.
