Apparently in the october issue of Road and Track the RDX pulled 0-60mph in 6.3s and 14.8s 1/4-mile. Not bad for a vehicle that wieghs 4000 lbs and is an automatic. Actually im pretty surprised it was capable of that.

Everything I've read on it gives it rave reviews. Everyone seems to love that engine too, it has tons of torque which is why it is pretty fast 0-60. I believe it uses acura's SH AWD also, which is outstanding. It's reasonably expensive but I think your getting your money's worth with that one. However, for 40 G's, I'd go buy a G35 or a TL if I was buying new, or something German if I was willing to go used.

The Rav 4 is still a pretty attractive option with the 26XHP V-6 they are putting in them now.

Yup, Toyota did the right thing with the Rav by ditching its gutless 4cyl they used to put in them - it is way better now.

I would definatelly buy an RDX if I were looking for an SUV for city use. It's basically a TSX in SUV format. Lots of features and an awsome engine.

Now all the need to do is put that engine in the TSX, give it SH AWD and I would be all over it...

Well they still have the 4 cyl availible, but I perfer spending the extra flow just to upgrade to the V6.

Lets see.. SH-AWD, turbo, big powah, big brakes...

    IN A FUCKING SUV.

Just what the world needs, another huge pos. Like Aleks said, this drivetrain should be in a car, not a gargantuan box.

I agree....but as if honda gonna do that anytime soon. But it's about time that Honda came out with a turbocharged engine stock from factory!

This might be a glimpse of the future for Acura perhaps. I would think the next TL would have SH-AWD and maybe (a BIG maybe) it might come with a turbo engine.

agreed, there really isnt much out there in this class of vehicle. i mean sure you have subaru and audi...but subaru isnt nearly as refined and audi you have the price tag and quality issues.

I'd perfer that new Mazda CX-7 over the acura, THe cx-7 shares the same motor as other mazda platforms and the motor is at 276HP in the mazdaspeed 6. Acura is incorporating some valve mechanism that will more or less funnel the air into the turbo at low RPM's to reduce Lag. I kinda find that to be usless technology, if a turbo is sized properly there will be little to no lag anyways and 2.3 liters of displacement is plenty to work with. The cx-7 also gets it peak torque at 2500RPM without any extra import variable turbo nozzle shit

Also if your looking to modify the vehicle consider the static compression ratios

    CX-7 9.5:1
    RDX 8.8:1
