    Default dam traction control

Anyone out there know a way to disable the traction control on a 99 mustang gt? I never use the dam thing and it's the stupidest idea i have ever seen. Any ideas????

There should be a button on the dash somewhere...don't you have a user manual?

BTW, that "stupidest idea" you've ever seen is one of the best safety features since seat belts...it's been proven to prevent tons of accidents.

Ya there's a button and every time you turn off the car it resets, I agree its a good safety idea but, it should have been wired the oposit way. automaticly OFF..lol Ya its good on wet roads, but i personally almost have been in a accident because of it... Anyways i heard there's a modual u can buy so its off all the time unless you turn it on so...

I turn mine off all the time too. Sliding rear + midengine design + TCS cutting fuel in said slide = snap oversteer.

    It goes off.

if you want it off all the time take out the relay? bad idea though its there for a reason saves like 1000 lives a day so unless you have never come close to crashing your car keep it. i know i wish my talon had it sometimes, then again i dont really get wheel spin in the dry world

Supra's do the same thing.... The Button on a supra only alows the traction to turn off for minor wheel spin. But if you are launching and shit... I had to take my fuse out. I only take it out when racing though, because if it wasn't there i would have killed myself by now

If you need TCS in an All-wheel-drive Talon, you need driving lessions. I never needed to alter my driving style in mine even when the snow fell.

I don't even notice it anymore, turning it off is second nature now.

Get in, turn car on, buckle up, turn TCS off, stereo on, put it into gear.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.
