    That's funny, not once has anyone flashed me when my fog lights are on in the stang, but on my truck with normal lights, everyone flashes me, so my stang obviously isn't blinding people.

    Its not illegal to use foglights within the city.

    Its illegal to use foglights within the city on a non-foggy day. And yes I know someone who has gotten a ticket for it before.

    Fog = Foglights
    No Fog = No need for foglights

    And no, you can't use fogs as headlights. Argued with a cop about that one for awhile and its been posted on here before.

    ^^ But there are so many cars out there already with fog lights...and vehicles with fog lights stock from factory. Never experienced any cases where fog lights would cause an issue! Although it could happen someday! ("knock on wood")
    Besides fog lights are usually on the lower front portion of the vehicle anyways...aimed slightly down against the road. If calgary streets are adequately lighted, then I guess head lights are not really required as well....we can just run our daytimes when it's dark!

    Most cars there's a 3-way switch. Off (w/daytime running lights), Daytime running lights w/markers, and headlights on with markers.

    I say do it! haha

    There's far more "illegal" mods such as...underglow, blue lights that ppl do to their cars. And those are more noticeable than head lights. If a see your car around the streets with your lights on...I probably wouldnt be able to notice or care if they are fog lights are not!

    Good luck on the mod!!

    It's not just about being able to see where you're going, it's important to be visible to others.

    Amen. What's with the idiots driving with their fog lights on when it's not foggy? (DRL fogs don't count of course.)

    Only if you don't drive at night.
