I cant decide between using kumho 712's and my 18lb rims or using stock 13" steelies and winter tires. What would be better?

For real?
Winter tires are ment for ice not for pavment. Easy choice.
just wondering if the drastic weight difference would make up for the decrese in traction?
And i can drop the psi in the winter tires alot more..
See you guys there! Ill be the guy driving the wicked single cam VTEC civic! I'm NA but I think I can hit 14's.

Is this a joke?
Steelies are not light, the 4lbs you save per corner might give you a .1 sec difference. The spinning through 2 gears will give you a -5 sec difference.
You think it would even give him THAT much?Originally posted by QuasarCav

This is a funny ass post.
I think youd get best traction if you just put some spikes in the winter ones... and then put some glue on them. Let it dry for 20 seconds before you take off.
Nice and sticky.
