So you're inviting my family over for dinner?
That place is frickin' fast!! I ordered, went to wash my hands and my ass had barely touched my seat when they were bringing my food out already! And cheap! How can you go wrong?Originally posted by littledan
when i lived in calgary... i was in the NE just of 16 ave... the absolute best vietnamese food in calgary (IMO) is this place in the mall with T & T. The pork chop with egg is sooo good. My roomate was vietnamese and he used to say it tasted like his mom's home cooking. Their pho is good too. Check it out and you won't be dissapointed.
George likes his Kung Pao spicy!
YEAH!! I was there last night! I love those guys.. #31 Chicken and Beef Curry ownz me!!!Originally posted by jdmakkord

you guys need to go order the roasted chicken and fried rice at new world on 17th, half a chicken, full plate of fried rice.. and it's 7.50, beats the heck off paying 13 bucks or whatever it is @ swiss salet
BangAlot is ok, Pho Kim is decent, so is Pho So 1, but the ultimate pho shop is Pho 88 in Forest Harlem next to the Fast Gas, if it's still there...
and the cleanest viet place is the Oriental Phoenix off Barlow, it's kinda like a Joey's meets Vietnam ... But food is only decent.
if your in the north by mcmahon stadium theres a place called Y2K it's damn goodand cheap, but thats if your in the north.
Ho Lan! HANDS DOWN!!!
Travel
Every restaurant carries a distinct taste and this is usually dependent on the cliental being served.
Most pho places cater to vietnamese/chinese customers so the taste is going to be different compared to Bagolac who's customers are mainly white. With that said, Bagolac is definitely one of the finese Vietnamese restaurants in town and gets my vote.
