Default Trip To Africa!! Some snaps for you.

I just recently got back from South Africa. After spending 3 days in a private game park on the edge of Kruger National Park, i was able of snaping a few pics. Although im still a big rookie.
We did see lions but it was on a night drive, so i want able to get a good picture. But heres some of my fav's:

    Cape Town Sunset:

    Morray Eel:

Zebra, and Kudo (like a big antelope). That back water was SWARMING with crocodiles!

Cheetah. Literally walked 3 METERS in front of our jeep.

    Elephant mocking us.

    A great sundown.

    Elephant in the sun.

Elephant eating some grubs. They are the most destructive animals in Africa. They are actually OVERPOPULATED in this area and the numbers are kept under control.

    Buffalo skull.

The most dangerous animal in Africa: The Cape Buffalo. This and the Hippo are thought to be the most dangerous animals in Africa. If cornered, they will just crush you.

my god im so insanely jealous. It's my ultimate DREAM of a lifetime to be able to go there. I want to do a 30 day tour where they take you from end of africa to the other. You get to do some amazing stuff. I think I will need 10 memory cards for when I go lol. How long were you there and how much did it cost?? I want to go within the next 4-5 years....

I was there a total of 2 and a half weeks. But i only spent about 3 days in the game park. You can stay at one of these game parks for around 300-400 a night. You sleep in a large canvas tent on a wooden platform way out in the middle of the savana. One night we heard lions by our tent, and when we awoke the next morning a tracker showed us the tracks. They had only been about 10 meters from our tent! When your at one of these game parks you do jeep tours with a guide and a tracker. Most camps offer two, 3 hour jeep tours a day. One at sunrise and one at sunset. It was an experience of a life time and highly reccomend it to anyone looking for good photography and adventure!
