    Default Any Headhunters on Beyond?

Just left a technical administration (billing, reporting) role and looking to move on to something a little more challenging.
I don't mind going through any reputable placement agency, depending on available positions.
Can anybody make any recommendations as to agencies to go in and meet with?

I'm not super anal about pay, I didn't leave my last position because it wasn't paying enough, I left because there was no way I could have advanced from that position or learned anything new.

PM, Post, or shout incomprehensible ramblings as you pass me on the street!

    -Andrew

edit: I would LOVE to get into a business analyst (admin/manager) role, as that is where I have discovered a great amount of interest.

St. Lawrence? I have a bunch of buddies that went there! I lived in Kingston for a while too... what made you move to Calgary?

My old employer offered me a temp (3wk) position in Calgary to help out with one of the contracts. I jumped at the opportunity as I had always dreamed of visiting the west. Well I came out here, fell in love with Calgary and my temp position became permanant.

They gave me an office with the view of the mountains... they knew what they were doing the whole time!

Kingston IS an amazing place, a total student town. I had a blast through schooling and met tons of great people and both St. Lawrence and Queens U. I was originally from Ottawa so Kingston was definitely a different atmosphere.

Uhhh wouldn't it have been smarter to find a new job first and then quit?

The job paid pretty well. I wouldn't have been motivated to get out and find something new unless I had to.

I just put in my notice last week, nothing set in stone as to what to do next.. But for those of us that have enough stashed away to get by for a bit, we'll be alright.. I think taking this risk, really makes you go after it more.. And at the end of the day its alberta! Better then staying somewares you don't want to be, waiting for something to come along..
