    Cool F.S. 2000 Audi TT AWD Turbo ( 180 HP )

Great sport coupe for winter as well!

~ 96,000 km, Mint Condition, dealer service, (Free service up to 80,000 km anyway.... ) just replaced air flow meter and service from GLenmore Audi.

Metallic blue exterior with navy blue leather interior.

Fully loaded with 17" sport wheel, sports seats.

Bose sound, CD changer, Xenon, fog light, Spoiler.

Power windows, locks, remote, alarm, OBC, heated seats, and more.

It is a great German sport coupe! one of the best looking coupe, solid, great handling, good on gas, and it is one of the most reliable European coupe!

    um .. what else ..

Oh, Price, good deal @ $20,900 ! firm.

It is mint in and out, service just done, only thing is, there is a crack on the top of the windsheild, (nead the interior mirror) if I am going to keep the car, I will get it replaced in spring time, not now. oem windshield is $330+tax.

Wow .. thx .. all pm replied ..

    It is Manual! no auto!

I rather not taking trade, but if something cheaper, and easy to sell, such as whatever civic, accord etc .. I will consider.

I just want to buy a new camera and gears by Christmas, so I would like to sell this TT.

Wow .. lots of PM ..

I was enjoying the Hockey game last nite, so didn't check pm

Most people asked for trade, which I wouldn't mind, if something lower price and easy to sell, not those RHD or domestic car....

As long as I can sell it before the year end, it is fine for me, Canon rebate is good till Dec 30 .. I think.

I don't know who would want a fwd, especially an audi but I am 99% sure that the TTs that are a 5 speed, have 180 hp and front wheel drive. The AWD model is a 6 speed with 225 hp. That car looks to be in perfect condition though.

For what it's worth, the quoted passages below are taken from the Road & Track, model year 2000, Car Buyer's Guide:

"Beginning in the fall of '99, the TT may have EITHER (my emphasis) front-wheel drive or Audi's quattro awd. The latter is a bargain at about $1700 and cures the minimal torque steer of the fwd TT while improving grip and handling. Traction control is standard on fwd models (but not needed with quattro)."

    Later in the same article:
"For those willing to wait, a higher boost twin intercooled version of the engine will produce 225 horsepower, ...." thus at the time of publication the 225hp model wasn't available. So the answer is, quattro was an option on the 180hp models.

I'll assume that Road & Track did their research before publising unless somebody has proof to the contrary or another article making a different claim on this topic. Price mentioned above was $US dollars and the magazine was published late in 1999.

I would suggest calling Audi 1-800-822-2834 with the VIN and they should be able to advise you whether this particular car came equipped with FWD or Quattro, although I would expect that anyone having driven this car on snow would probably know pretty quickly.

Or you could just take a peek under the car. That'll tell you right away if it's FWD or AWD.

Or, you could just look at the 2 pictures of the dashboard where it clearly states the car is quattro via a large "quattro" badge.

Or, you could look at the 3 pictures of the front of the car where the quattro badge is clearly visible.

This car is for sure AWD.
