My Gmail's been hacked....

Last night I couldn't log in, it wouldn't recognize my password I just thought it was a glitch with their server or something.

Today I get a call from my fiance because a few relatives have been emailing her regarding my strange emails they've been getting from my account.

Basically some douche bag is pretending he's me hitting up everyone in my contact list for money to be sent to a bank in new jersey because I'm stranded there and in some sort of trouble WTF

I'm basically one step away from having my identity stolen here, I use gmail for everything and I have never deleted a message; sent or recieved.

No such luck as of yet, The SOB tried to get control of my ebay account, I logged in and I had 3 alerts as to a forgotten password recovery attempt. THANK GOD I was lazy and never updated the email attached to that account so I was still using an old address.

BUT it get's better ebay logs the IP, on the last 2 attempts the fucker spoofed his IP, so a lookup yielded nothing but his first attempt on oct 14th he wasn't so sneaky. Here's the details:

I have been getting these scammer emails A LOT lately. And I mean like a 2-5 a day! Usually it was never this bad, guess it's their 'working' season again.

I thought of that but I'm running a good firewall, and if it was a keylogger he would have went for my bank account or paypal not just email.

Yea I get the paypal ones all the time, that say click the link and log in because there has been suspicious activity but the link takes you to a spoofed paypal site, I guess the new term is "phishing" which is the only way I can see this clown getting my gmail account, but it must have been a while back because my 2 week internet history shows no spoofed sites.....

So, I'm looking for the "my friend's account got hacked" button in Gmail and I can't find it. I'm pretty sure Hotmail has this and I assume Gmail does but I can't find it.
My friend's account is sending shit out to his address book with dangerous links and I don't want this to victimize the elderly.
Shouldn't there be a simple way for me to report this?

No way in hell this is happening through the web.

They have their gmail account tied to something (phone email client, windows email client) and or their gmail email address is being spoofed.

The person knows. They say they simply stopped using that account and abandoned it when it started doing this. I think that was years ago but suddenly the spam had really fired up again recently.
