Wonderful. Don't they have better things do be doing with their time and money than chasting the elusive Star Wars project?

No, mostly just the US. I really want to see how much they have to spend to do this. And everyone thought that the States debt was bad before.

Nothing that has meaning is easy. "Easy" doesn't enter into grown-up life... everday we live, hard its a strife... good thing right now I don't have a wife

As Kanye say, nothings ever promised tommorow today

Now that I think of it, didn't the U.S. sign a treaty preventing the militarization of space?

    Who can't see this coming?

Ground wars are depending more and more on satellite and GPS. Escpecially now robots are joining in. Making all these satellites prime targets in a war.

Though I don't know anyone but Russia/China has ways to shoot them down.

Any country advanced enough to send things into outerspace is too powerful for the USA to mess with. For the past couple of decades the US has had a policy of only fighting/invading countries that are orders of magnitude weaker than they are.

I hope the Iraq war breaks the American economy.
