I was just wondering if anyone on here plays it..I am in the middle of it right now just starting on the expert songs. And if you have it have you modded your controlled yet

I have it! Just started playing it yesterday, and today finished Take me Out in Hard mode with 86% accuracy. Gonna take a LOT of practice to get good at this! I'm afraid I'll forget how to play real guitar playing this game so much haha.

Do you know if they sell the wireless Flying V in town? I want one!

Oh ya, GH2 is coming out Nov 7, the songlist is 10000x better.

i havent heard of the flying v in town anywhere...im just in the middle of painting my guitar...ill post some pics when im done...and i am sooo buying guitar hero 2 when it comes out

i think it was electronic gaming monthly or something asked a guitar player for one of the bands that they covered in GH 1 (forget which one) if he played the game and he replied frustrated "I cant even play my own f**king song!"

great game, im the only one of my friends that DOESNT own it and they all can play expert or whatever the hardest level is with 85% accuracy on most of them (cept bark at the moon lol)

if you have a xbox 360 get it on that, controller is MUCH nicer AND downloadable content (so they'll keep adding more and more songs)

Oh man got guitar hero 2 this weekend. Looks soooo much better than GH1 in 480p and widescreen mode.

Friggin' 3 note chords... oh this will be fun! haha.

They have a buckethead song in guitar hero 2! Too bad it's unplayable (for me)... dunno how the fuck this bastard played thru it without dying.

Is that the entire game? You just press buttons in accordance with the roto-dial?

kinda... there's 5 fret buttons, and a paddle for picking. You have to pick the notes as well as press the fret button. There's also a whammy bar for the long notes (notes with the lines) where u can do retarded dive bombs and shit haha.

ahaha no fuckin way you got it already!
I got the first one on sunday and took it back within 30 minutes, there was a delay between the screen and what was atually happenin.. the samsung DLP tv delay thing.. made the game totally unplayable

If GH2 runs in 480p tho I'll be pickin it up

Picked it up at Wal-Mart on the way home today. Pretty sweet so far. Definate improvement over the first one too.

wow the Lamb of God song is in the second hardest bracket. Nuts. That song is tricky to play on a real guitar, I can only imagine how hard they have made it in GH2 And listening to the track on the website... their cover is not even close. Oh well.

haha dumbass, go into options, there's a calibration option to set the delay for your TV. Also in options, 480p mode and widescreen mode. Everything you bitched about .

Got a 2nd guitar yesterday, Jordan in expert face-off mode is fun. Bass/rhythm section isn't too bad either... a lot less fighting for the game now!

The hammer ons and pulloffs are a lot better in GH2. Makes it easier to play those big sweep sections.
