    Question 02 Protoge5

Just have a quick question: I just bought a 02 Mazda Protoge 5. It came with a cold air intake already installed. My question is, is there a special way to clean the air filter or do I just have to buy a new one?

They're cheap enough (~$30 or so) that you might as well just replace it. Some advice though for winter, I'd turn it into a short ram intake, meaning take off the lower half of the intake with the filter (cold-air extension) then re-attach the filter to the MAF (the part that the cold-air extension is attached too, it's a black plastic roundish part that attaches the intake piping to the engine's intake manifold)
