It was pretty funny but the overhyping killed it a bit. If you watched the trailer and followed the Rudy story it spoiled like 75% of it.

Still worth a watch and would recommend but tamp your expectations.

Dane Cook is a no talent ass clown.

    Borat is great success.
No kidding. SBC is a creative genius vs a 5th rate comedian that nobody outside of the 15 year old female demographic likes

The only article I read about that had me scratching my head. An attractive mid-20's girl invites him to her hotel room after drinks and he gets turned on, no shit.
That's the thing, the interview was in the hotel room to begin with. She goes and pulls his shirt out when he sat down on the bed, and he tucked his shirt back in. I can't see anyone that can interpret that to be him fondling himself. Wasn't even the same ballpark, as much as I wanted to see it happen and lol.

I wonder what the crossover is between people who think Dane Cook is funny and people who think Borat is funny.
If you have Eastern Euro relatives and visited in the early 90s you can kind of see how he nailed the stereotype.

Comedy is a matter of taste, so each to their own. But Borat and SBC is, at best, a chuckle producer. Definitely not a comedy genius.

Ali G was better than Borat.

Borat better not pull that shit in Canada or he will be faced with several cease and desist letters from middle aged white folks.

    Respect!

No not a genius at all. But his comedy fits a niche.

I strongly disagree, but I will give that a re watch to see if you're correct. I didn't notice her untucking anything.
Maybe I was still wincing from the moon blood scene.

A bit odd for him to stay lying down if all he wanted to do was tuck in his shirt. Naughty naughty!

I know. I'm eager to look at it again through another lens. Who the fuck tucks in their shirt whilst lying down, anyway?!?

I have a buddy who puts his belt into his pants before he puts his pants on. It takes all kinds in this world.

The shirt definitely became untucked while she was pulling out the microphone. It certainly looked like he was tucking in his shirt but definitely a bit odd to do it that way. Maybe normal if you are old with a gut and already sitting on the bed?

I wish he would have let it go on a bit longer...another 30 seconds would have been gold. Pretty sure he cut it short because from the hidden camera, it looked like he was grabbing his cock

There wasn’t even much footage to begin with. I watched it again to make sure I wasn’t on crack and it’s the same short footage of him stuffing in his shirt replayed from several angles to make it look longer. Even that whole asking for phone number and address seems edited in.

And yes, as an old guy with a gut, I’m laying down or standing to tuck in my shirt haha.

It was enjoyable, nothing terribly rehashed like some follow up movies make the mistake of doing. Loved the ending, cracked me up.

Yeah I quite enjoyed it as well. In today’s world it takes a lot to shock and awe anymore, but thought it was pretty funny. We watched both movies back to back.

I thought it was pretty funny.

The Rudy scene was about as bad as expected - he creepily had his hands on her, invited her to the bedroom, lied down flat to tuck in his shirt for like 30 seconds (who does that?), etc. It was pretty clear he was DTF what he believed to be a 15 year old, at least how it was protrayed.

I didn't expect the film to be so political but that was basically the entire point of it.

Could have done without the period dance, but everything else was pretty funny.

Did he actually think she was 15?
