Yeah, I'm gonna show my father in law who is here from the Philippines. He's never seen anything like it.

I know eh? Storm in the north has clouds slowly rolling in. Might be a bust unless the lights show up soon. Capturing a bit on camera, but less than impressive to the naked eye.

Wow, what a show. At times almost the whole sky was moving. To bad the storm to the north is heading this way but the brightest of the show was was done by 12:45. Should have gotten some cool pics though. Just wish I had a wide angle lens. My 18-35 doesn't cut it for this sort of thing.

Should be depending on the cloud cover. Tomorrow and Thursday are supposed to be better though.

What are some good places around here to watch the lights? Or just drive an hour away from the city and park somewhere?

Get where its as dark as you can find with a good view to the north. The sky is pretty cloudy and the aurora forecast has changed so it's not looking too good tonite.

The show was incredible last night, was able to shoot some photos despite heavy light pollution around (Christmas lights etc)

It's been reported there should be another tonight, albeit weaker.

The remains of a huge event that was happening during today should be noticeable tonight!
