Hey guys, I can't believe I found this but I wanted to pass the deal on to you guys. This is a SMOKIN' deal... If I had the money I'd pick this up asap.

I didn't know the Typhoons were importable. $14000 is pretty steep considering how beat up it probably is, I would think.

uh, take a look at the pics... it looks pretty damn good to me. What's considered "beaten up" in Japan is quite honesty near mint condition to us North Americans. Not only that, but with 65k.. what could be wrong with that thing? It seems to be in DAMN good shape, and $15k is a phenominal deal, they sell all day long for $20-25k USD. That SUV is currently in Japan, the $14,600 is shipped to your door, final price.

So would that truck originally be from N.A., then shipped to Japan?....or did they sell brand new GM's in japan back then?

its not bad, but typhoons are getting cheaper, a few months ago i saw 3 or 4 stateside in similar shape go for 12000 or less.

i believe that one was going for 8 grand, just keep your eyes open boys

    and so on

EDIT: i would also not buy one of these trucks without being able to drive it. most syty owners recomend this along with a shopping list of other things to look at when you are buying the truck, they can be quirky and at times are not the most reliable of vehicles, i would love to own one some day but i would definatly look at a second reliable vehicle incase the truck broke.

280 hp, 360 lb/ft, 1/4 mile time of 14.1 sec. 0-60 of 5.3, none of that is very impressive to me at all. IMO those are pretty sad numbers out of a turbo V8. I realize its 15 years old but the technology was certainly around then to do way better. All that in a blazer package that is built like a POS is not appealing to me in the least. I've seen a few on the roads, I did not know how rare they were though. Certainly wouldn't pay near 15K for one.
