    Default Casino Royale

    No thread about this?

Best Bond movie ever made. Daniel Craig is superb; plays Bond to perfection.

Even if you don't like Bond movies, see it. It's simply unreal.

The movie was well worth the 45min wait in line outside the theatre, and I think I may have to agree that Craig may be the best bond ever.

I want to go see it again

Daniel Craig matches the Bond they were trying to portray, the RAW James Bond... I would have to say that it was a well constructed movie. If you expect similarities with other Bond movies... you'll be blown away by some of the differences in Casino Royale... as dj_honda said, "...they lost all the cheese..."

wouldn't say the greatest bond film of all time....and craig is far from the best bond ever....especially when comparing him to the likes of connery and brosnan.

However, the movie was "different", didn't really follow the normal setup of a Bond movie as in years past. Like they said, they are trying to revive the franchise so this is maybe their way of doing it.

Who is the best 007? IMO, from top to bottom in descending order:

    Connery
    Brosnan
Craig (he did decent in this movie)
    Moore
and the other 2 or 3 that didn't make it big

Before I went in I had Connery as #1 and Brosnan as #2 as well, but I really think this Craig guy has the potential to be the best. Maybe I'm going a little too far saying he's the best after only one movie, but that's probably because I havn't watched the other ones in a while haha.

I thought it was really good. I liked Craig as Bond more than Brosnan

I kinda think that chase is a rip off of Ong Bak. But good none of the less.

Good movie but there seem to be a few plot holes.

    - leaving the chick on the road, if she dies, nobody will get the code from Bond.

    - Bond's alive after capture but never question why?

    - Chick turn from cold to hot so fast that he doesn't notice something is not right?
