just seen the show, what do you guys think? IMO way better than racing for car lenths. no sand bagging, heads up and for cash.

So its the opposite of the regular pinks? They both race from the same starting point?

but in the end it was good, some lady in a old truck won $10 000+
196X ford pickup truck ftw LOL
The guy that ran the 9.7 looked like he was going to cry.
Calgary is so much like an iphone: iCalgary - There's a bylaw for that.
ya i think that was bs, if he knew he was sand baggin he would have bet alot more than 200 bux. he was scared to even bet that much. so it is obvious that he wasnt doing itOriginally posted by frozenrice

I enjoyed it
I liked it a lot. Was much much better than the normal pinks... heads up is the way to go.
I wish the guy in the black Grand National hadn't rolled off the line though, cuz his car was dope, I love GN's.
That was too bad for him - great cars. I had to laugh though, an Asian with a Texas accent.

i still think that grand national wouldve won if he didnt fuck up
i forgot to set the trans-break
It was OK. Def better than reg pinks. But with Rich still hosting it, it's only going to move the needle so far.
It's still possible to sandbag on that show. But that guy run 3/10ths too quick, I mean it was later in the day even and it ain't that hard for your car to run that much better witha temp change and track change. Yet if he let off it, he'd be disqualified. So it's still pretty much liek bracket racing. Run full out, but don't breakout in the dial-in. I don't know. At least it was a little more entertaining. Seeing that woman win was cool. She wasn't afraid to drive that thign balls deep.
Who else thought the girl in the red Nova was smokin!
what channel is this on?

Much better then regular pinks
some much better cars
hopefully they do it again
Sandbagging is basically *not* running at 10/10's, giving your opponent the impression that your car is slower than it is, in your preliminary runs. You then compensate for the time difference in the cars with your start stagger. When it comes down to your final run, you hold nothing back and run substantially faster than you did previously, giving yourself a large advantage.Originally posted by GQBalla

What is substantially faster? The guy who got kicked out when he ran the 9.79, does not really seem that much faster, than his previous 9.99Originally posted by frostyda9
