i don't think u can withdraw....hate to break it to ya, but i think the last to withdraw from courses was nov 15th?

i may be wrong, but best to talk to a head in your faculty instead of us.

I just withdrew from something today. Withdraw deadline is in a week or so. It depends on the class if you can retake it right away. I know I withdrew from Econ341 once and it wouldnt let me re-register for a while because it was a popular class or something along those lines, there is a time restriction, but I believe this is specific you different classes. Plus as Im sure you know, if you retake it and dont pass you will get a RTW (Required to withdraw).

what's your final worth? If it's 50% you might be able to pull off something half decent.

not sure what the final's worth, prof didnt give us an outline, nor does he reply any emails, or really give us a chance to talk to him after class...

I took Finance 317 last winter (2006) and I'm retaking it this semester (Fall 2006) and there are no problems. Not sure if its the same for withdrawing in the fall and retaking in winter.

Even if you do withdraw and take it again, it'll show up on your transcript. Whoever is looking at your transcript will see that you withdrew and then retook the course.

thats untrue, you can't take the course if you have withdrawn from it 3 times

Go to that place on the 2nd floor of SS and ask. They will tell you what you can/can't do. However it's only for faculties of Communication and Culture, Humanities, Science and Social Sciences

    Here is their site:

you can withdraw from up to 10 classes at the u of c.

a W looks way better than an F .. always remember that if your in danger!

you can always explain to a potential employer your situation.

ya thats correct ** up to 10 ** but if you have 10 W's on your transcripts something must be really wrong or you don't deserve to be in uni
