    Talking raced a bimmer

The other night I raced a 92 or 93ish bmw 325i on barlow. Off the line I jumped up by about one car length or so and we stayed that way all the way up to almost one-forty when my turn off was fast approaching. I hopped on the brakes and let him go by and into the turn. half way into the memorial turn off I dumped the legend into third gear and blew by him on the inside. With my baby humming away at sixty-five hundred rpm and not quite at red line I drop the clutch and into forth gear. I was still ahead and feeling like the race was over when we cooked by this sweeeeeeeeeet twin turbo 300zx. Full body kit, 18's and even with my car at three thousand rpm I could hear his turbos. Holy %$#@ I felt like I stalled or something when he went past me like I was standing still. All the same though, if you are going to lose to someone make sure that it is worth it in entertainment value.
At the end I was stoked because I pulled on a bmw, and happy to see a beautiful machine (300zx) driven to par.

Nice one..... I drove a 1990 coupe and I was VERY impressed with the acceleration. I though it was even close to my 6 speed!

    The engine:

    C25A1: 151 hp/152 lb ft.
    C27A1: 161 hp/162 lb/ft

I beleive the sign the smiley is holding up says W-e-r-d (word), as in I agree with your other post asking what powered his Legend.

the engine in my car is the c27a1, but I've got an intake on it so that helps a bit. The bimmer was definately a 325i, I know because I couldn't believe it when I saw it. My car has lots of torque off the line and I think maybe that's what did it for me.

Red BMW.... if it was like a burgandy red, with tint, rims and a spoiler (325), I raced it on the way to work this morning on deerfoot. It saw tail lights...
