Thats how I was with Diablo 2, too addicting, worst than a drug. STAY away from RPG video games, they just suck you right in.

What a shit-ass game. I downloaded the "demo" tuesday night.

Played a little on wednesday, it seemed cool, tried getting on wednesday night, the server was FULL, ok that sucks, I'll make a new guy on another server, so I play some more that night, play an hour of the first server guy thursday, then thursday night, once again, CANT GET ON THE SERVER, so I go back to my other guy, now tonight, I can't get on EITHER server, it puts me on a "wait" list, but I just keep getting bumped BACKWARDS in the wait list, and it's gonna take 2 frickin hours just to get on?

Lame. And you people PAY for this horseshit?

When you start a new character, check the population on the server first. Not the games fault you dont know how to read

I did read. It said for a noob, choose a server that is Normal and Low to Medium population.

The first guy I clicked the "suggested server" assuming it would pick a good one for me. Nope

the next guy I choose a normal, medium population, but the server was still full the 2nd time I tried playing in it.

The next character, same as previous,

Now I'm on a 4th character, because last night I couldn't get on ANY of the above 3, the quickest placing me at 30th in line, and 20 minutes to get on, and the longest, 230th in line, and 2 hours to get on.

If they want me to PAY for something on a monthly basis, I had better not have any trouble getting on a server whenever I damn well please.

I'll enjoy my 10 day trial, but doubt I'll buy the game if this is a regular occurance.

I've been playing since about June and I've never once been put on a waiting list. I chose a low population server when I started and even with them opening up free character transfers TO this server, I have still yet to be put on a waiting list to get on.


As for upgrading the 10 day trial account, yes they still charge you to upgrade. I took that route when I started and ended up paying around $5 less than I would have if I had bought the game from a store. But buying it from the store would have given me a nice box and manual.

might just be bad timing, I play on a new low lvl server and never had problems THE only time i had problems was back in the day (I played this game when it was first released and when the new pvp honor system came intact all servers went to shit - that was the only time i had to wait in line only a 5 minute wait)

i quit the game but now i come back haha fuck this game.
