    Default Winter Autocross

This Sunday CSCC will host its first winter autox. Some of you are regulars, other has not even heard of it.

Do you enjoy sliding and drifting in the snow? Want to master your skills?
Maybe you or some one you know needs some time practicing driving in snow.
Well you can do all of that in safe control environment this Sunday at Race City.

Weather forecast looks good, will be a fun Sunday.

Visit CSCC forum for rules and schedule.
    http://cscc.speedracer.ca/forums/ind...oard,34.0.html

Not sure if winter auto-x is for you? Come down, catch a ride with someone and decide it for yourself.

Sounds fun. I'm pretty interested. Am I allowed to use a bunch of zip ties to strap my battery down?

    Rules and regulations are posted.

The simple way of thinking is this:
If you were to bring your car for a mechanical inspection and it would fail the answer is no.

Are these universal? I have my stock tire down, but it's slightly too small for my battery.

Im the guy (or one of 2 guys) you need to impress with your battery tie down... in the past things have been let slide... this year is going to be a bit firmer on the rules as the amount of people showing up is definatly growing and we need the events to be safe. If the battery is loose or tied down with something other than a good metal bracket expect to be turned away.

Yes, Crappy tire has a set. It's not expensive - Less than $12

But really - why would you want to drive around missing a stud?

Technically a tire only needs 3 securing points/wheel to pass a provincial technical inspection...
