    WOO HOO
I can't wait I went once last year and it was a blast. It started off pretty cold but as the day went on it got a bit more warmer. 1st was ice and snow, 2nd run was mud and ice. I'm proud to declare that i had mud land on to my roof of my car.

no, this is one of the specifics that we discussed last week. if the tiedown isnt proper (metal) the car wont run.

as for helmets there are typically 2-3 loaners that the club has, feel free to come buy and use one of these. if not beg and borrow usually works

What was the argument against it? These things can hold like 750 pounds.

they can get cut much easier than a metal piece, the batterys out gassing will slowly rot the fibres, also in an engine fire metal doesnt burn.

i suppose if your car has 'special circumstances' such as a relocated battery you can try. However i cant promise anything unless its a solid metal bracket.

That makes no sense at all from a saftey perspective but no you will not pass tech until it is fixed.

You should come out and judge. There is possible increase wear and tear since the the terrain can be rough or "surprising".
