the whole car is a major problem! I'll be honest, the car is really hurting... basically it's only good for parts.

dont wanna crap your thread, but you wont get a third gen supra (86.5-92) for 2500 bucks unless its a front cut from japan.
complete cars go for about 5000+

an option is a second generation supra... seen a bunch of them in the 1000-3000 bracket, and you might like the looks of them.
still rwd with a torquey inline 6 and all kinda other goodies.

    just my two cents.

ya at the auctions, think there gonna work worth a damn? lol
my friend bought a truck which seemed to be in awesome shape, no leaks, all polished and clean, got out on to country hills and it started pooring coolant and oil everywhere. headgasket.
$1500 to replace. he paid $2500 for the truck.

on the other hand i bought my rx7 at an auction and it worked perfect, until it got hot out but thats an rx7 thing.

sorry to hijack threads but if your buddy paid $1500 to replace a headgasket he got screwed, hard.
