Ok, I placed an order online on the 28 and it said that there was 20+ available at the time. Now my order status says it is out of stock, but checking it out again it show that there is lots available, but the online availablity is out of stock??? so I don't get why it shows that there is some available but the order is out of stock....

Some other SD cards clearly says it is out of stock and you can not even place them in the cart to purchase it.

So now I don't know if I will be able to get it, since is says it will ship when available. The part that sucks is one of them was a rebate, but that ends on the 31.

I think it means there expecting a shipment of however many to come in at a later date. So basically you are reserving yourself a card.

Don't worry.
The rebate ending on the 31st means you have to buy the card by the 31st. Usually it doesn't have to be mailed in until like the end of january.
If they are available for online checkout, get them. You will get your cards. the 'In stock' or 'Out of stock' messages don't mean a lot right now.

I called customer service and they said that if the billing date is after the 31 which it will be cuz they dont have it then it wont qualify for the rebate. Such a scam, when I placed the order there was online availablity and after placing the order there was still lots left. I check again the following day on my order and is says it is out of stock

Oh well I went with the ones at Best Buy 2x1gb with no rebate needed
