Its this coil that the plumber sticks in to a tube with a camera on the end.

Its like those cameras you see in spy movies.

This type of equipment is very expensive and I dont think there is a rental place that owns them.
It is a contractor item.

Borescope is the camera you're referring to. I can honestly say I DO NOT want to see the inside of my plumbing. This house is 40 years old

I work for waste water. If you have a back up or something and thing it's past your cleanout then call 311, we'll come out and snake it for free. If it persists we'll video it for free, if the probem ends up on your side you'll have to deal with it but atleast you'll know.
