It wont do any damage, but with 230K it's a waste of money. If you have low compression, this wont do you any good.

low compression could most likely be from bad piston rings or valves, to fix that you've got a hell of a repair bill. how low is your compression?

It could actually make your compression lower. The CCC cleans out the carbon from the valves and the piston crowns. If there is a fair amount of carbon on the crowns on in the ring lands it will break that up and when it is removed the compression will be lower. That's worst case though. Only way to tell for sure is to do it.
