Not all muslims eat curry (we are not all pakistani or indian), we come from the middle east, africa, asia, hell theres even white muslims and we dont eat curry!

What ever the fuck this is based on..^ Like farmers are some 2nd rate breed of people.. I grew up on a farm and I'm well educated? My father owns the farm and is an electrical engineer with michelin, building, installing and maintaing robots for the production line.. Who also owns 2 side business'. So figure out how hard he works to hold a full time job at michelin (already had 30 yrs in by age 50, and is now consulting, naming his own rate and hours), maintain 100head of beef and the work required to keep them, and the two other businesses going and growing.

Ok ok, my original post was pretty off bounds, but I was pretty riled up by that article and posted a knee-jerk reaction that probably shouldn't have been.

I should've specified, nothing against farmers... it's the rednecks that get me, and I know that bunching them together isn't really true.

Though, having lived in a small town in Saskatchewan for 2 years (Maple Creek, just east of the Al/Sask boarder), I dunno.. I just couldn't stay there. Just about everyone was so ridiculously right wing that you couldn't have any serious conversations without it turning to some crazy racist

And I'm not 'smiling' (as I put it) because they're getting fucked up by the corporate, but more at the irony of the whole situation. Where, for example, you have this small town and its rednecks holding pig races to piss off the Muslims... and will almost certainly vote Republican because they share they hatred for gays/abortion/Muslims... when all they're really doing is voting in the very people who do an incredible job of fucking them over economically and taking the riches/resources from the rural areas and making sure that it gets sent to corporate shareholders in the fastest possible way.
