    Default My key gets stuck!

Every once in awhile my key gets stuck in the ignition after driving for some reason. The only way you can usually get it out is by driving somemore and it may come out. I would say about 25% of the times I try and get it out , it is stuck.

Also something even more weird that has happened about 5 times, is the key won't go in the ignition until I put the car in nuetral and rol it a few feet. Then it usaully goes in fine!!!

    Is that not weird?

The ignition tumbler may be pooched...... but you should go to the dealership and get them to recut your key. It worked for me....the key wouldn't work sometimes in the trunk.

my G/F's 92 Civic does the same thing - is yours an auto? I have a feeling that the position indicator switch in her car isn't "telling" the lock to let go.. more investigation is required tho.

It's not like it needs lube, 1/2 the time it comes out normally with no drag.

And I'd use some dry graphite lock lube, otherwise you end up with a greasy key all the time.
