    Default Looking back on 2006

With only 18 days left in 2006, take a look back and think about the things you accomplished and things that changed in your lives this year.

List some of the events / occasions that made this year especially memorable for you, big things, small things, good things, bad things...

    My list:

    1) Bought and moved into our new home
    2) Planned our wedding for April 2007 and took care of all the details and booked the honeymoon! (almost there!)
    3) Fiance got a fantastic new job
    4) Worked my fanny off doing various photography jobs this year, already booking lots for next year!
    5) Diagnosed with severely low iron, put on 3 pills a day to fix it
    6) Decided on my game plan for writing two different books this upcoming year, a children's book and a regular book

What are your big events of 2006?

Hahaha, compared to that list, I've got nothing! Just plugging away at school, that sort of thing. Oh, and I did get my first paid photo gig, which was nice.

    1. Got into Med School. (July/2006)
    2. Got BSc in Physiology
    3. Got the wheels that I had always wanted lol.

Med school admission is the only really important one, it's been a goal that I have been working my butt0ckz off to achieve for many years. The degree...meh...just a piece of paper really but I guess it does count as some kind of an achievement.

1 more exam and I'm done my first semester!!

Got married to the love of my life! that's the biggest one I think.
Welcomed a new niece and then 6 months later a new nephew into the world.
Got into two car accidents (neither my fault for all those ready with the "woman drivers!" comments) haha
Was matron of honour in two weddings
Helped photograph a wedding reception, and actually took a couple decent pictures!
    Success is the ultimate revenge.

Nothing that has meaning is easy. "Easy" doesn't enter into grown-up life... everday we live, hard its a strife... good thing right now I don't have a wife

I just can't believe that this yr is over and went so quickly.

Some of the things I am proud of

    1) Separated from my ex - probably one of the toughest things that I had to overcome
    2) Part of #1 - getting my own place, my own things - feels good to pay for everything myself, although its tough some months
    3) Went back to school
    4) Was able to take a couple of vacations
    5) Became an Auntie again
    6) Rekindled and old love from my past
    7) Got my Learners finally - yes I am 27, its sad

Looking forward to what next yr brings. I wish the best for everyone in 2007!!
