What happened? I was by the new south location recently and it look like it has been ready to go for a while now but it still hasnt opened. Even the downtown one was closed at the beginning of Dec since they were opening the new one.
Weird.

I was at the 8th ave one the other day and they are open. They had a sign in there saying they are opening that McKEnzie town one in January I believe. Anotehr franchise location.

I guess the grand opening was delayed for some reason.
Just wondering what happened.
nothing beats the original location, 8th is alright, but rather go to chinatown, too bad they are closed for a month.Originally posted by B17a

8th is a 5 min walk for me. The original location is great but I prefer the convinience. Plus I don't have to wait for half an hour in line since they're a bit bigger.

Well this is probably the most substantial Sandwich news I've learned all year! Now I can cure my Thi Thi Cravings without the absurd lame ass lines as the downtown and it's just accross Deerfoot! w00t!
Let me guess, the price of them is 50-100% more tho correct? Kinda like all the Pho joints that popped up in the south burbs and charge 9 bucks a bowl and 2 bucks for jasmine tea.

0rly? ben, we both know the south sucks for food

You know business is good when you can take 1 month off. Bring me a sub next time thi_thi and I'll hook you up with some ginger beef in return.

Shit, there's only 49 users here, I doubt we'll even break 100
thanks for the support guys!
this will be another franchise location so it will be run by the owner and his staff and not us. we will be there occasionally to do check ups, help, etc.
hah, were not technically off for a month. we are preparing for the opening and doing some training. i wish it were so hahaOriginally posted by max_boost
