I owned a Swift GT once. It was a brand new 1990, white, with a sunroof. It was a friggin hoot to drive and I beat the piss out of it on a regular basis.

By the time it got written off (break in.. the electronics got fried) go fast toys were just starting to come out for it. I would have loved to see what a chip would have done to the thing.

I think the Swift Gti's of that vintage were 1.6L 16V DOHC
