Cool engineering, but it seems like a commercialized bastardization of nature. If you click some of the links on that website, they'll take you to websites offering actual foot tours through the Grand Canyon, which IMO, is much cooler.
i saw this a few years back, too bad it was not yet completed when i went there last year.

The helicopter tours are way cooler than the foot tours.

I saw that on TLC once. That thing is supposed to hold 2+ tonnes at the very tip. So, jumping on it shouldn't be a problem.....assuming you and everyone else on the bridge don't weigh 2+ tonnes and all stand in the same area.
