Default Anyone here live in Tuscany? Electricians? electrical issues..

So I'm all moved in to my new pad in Tuscany.. very happy overall, great community and lots of young couples here makes it a great fit for starting my new family.

One thing that is driving me nuts tho is I have some SEVERELY unstable power in the home. The lights are constantly flickering (dimming), and I can't seem to nail down the cause.. I've tried shutting down different circuits in the breaker panel but it doesn't seem to be anything related to our house.. does anyone else in Tuscany have this problem? I don't think this is good for my electronic stuff, I have a new Projector that I'm using for my Home Theater, and it is constantly dimming/brightening (is that a word? hehe) which kinda blows up my viewing pleasure if you know what I mean. I'll probably have to pick up a UPS to smooth things out for the electronic goodies if I can't do anything about it.

Anyone have any ideas? should I contact an electrician or the City on this? As a first time home owner I'm a little in the dark (no pun intended haha) on this..

Your house doesn't happen to back onto 12 Mile Coulee Road, does it?

Call Enmax and tell them you have power quality problems.

You need a voltmeter that can log measurements over time to see fluctuations.

Even after you figure out the problem, you should invest in a UPS for sensitive electronics.

124V is not high, well within the nominal operating range outlined by the canadian electrical code.

I wouldn't waste your time and money by buying a new meter.

It definately sounds like a power quality problem, which shouldn't be your problem. It's Enmax's.

The right solution here is to call Enmax's trouble line as mentioned above. They can monitor it themselves and if need be, correct the problem.
