Question about Comptia A+ Certification

Has anyone recently gone to take this test? I am getting really confssed by where I am suppose to go and how all of this works. the Comptia website listed two places in calgary but from what I am understanding neither place is actaully doing the exam :S. This is driving me crazy, I would be greatful for any help.

Last I checked you could do the exam at SAIT.

yeah i think you could get your A+ at sait im could get it right now but im lazy

Yeah there are several places in the city where you can take the test....Last I checked SAIT still offers them....To attain the A+ you have to do more than one test...when I took mine last year, there were 2 parts Hardware (220-301) and OS (220-302)....I know since then the objectives have been changed....Also a good piece of advice would be to get a voucher, dont have the website on hand but you save some money that way.

Yes you can get it at SAIT, and im pretty sure the testing center for it is to the left inside the doors beside the Apex Credit Union. At least i've seen CompTIA testing center signs at a room there.

The SAIT testing facility is a Thomson Prometric center, in which case you will have to schedule the exam online at:

I dont think you will be able to get too much information from calling sait, and the Thomson Prometric site will list all the locations in Calgary. There is also a testing group called Pearson Vue, and they have testing centers in calgary as well:

Both of these will work for computer certifications, but if you specifically want to do it at SAIT, you will have to sign up on Thomson Prometric.
