The new cars are starting to come out, so I figured I'd go ahead and get the F1 thread going.

Some pictures of the Renault R27 have been leaked, but don't show the new team look (the mechanics are in grey). The new look is orange, coming from Dutch sponsor ING.





The Toyota TF107 is totally and officially out:





The last new car for 2007 I know of is the Ferrari F2007 which, of course, looks absolutely fantastic . The new uniforms are pretty slick too.

that new ferrari looks sick!!!!!!!!!!! .. im excited to see the new renault colors as well considering theyve changed it up there and dropped mild seven as a sponsor..its going to be an awesome season, there will be at lest 4 or 5 teams that can run for the championship this year...so stoked!

Everyone's going in different directions in terms of aero... so it'll be very interesting to see who's aero and suspension package can take advantage of the new spec tires better.

I still miss the good old days of silver and black Mclaren.

But the new car does look sick, the small bit of orange looks awesome

it doesnt really surprise me that Super Aguri is keeping up a little better this year, seeing that they are currently running pretty much an identical chassis as the Honda RA106. Kovaleinen and Fisichella's time seem pretty much on par IMO, Fisichella already proved last year he can't keep up with the front runners. I expect Kovaleinen to finish ahead of Fisichella this year. Nakajima's time is pretty impressive though.

Looking forward to a competitive season for a few teams.
I hope Alonso is given a deserving car, he is an incredible driver, but the car didn't have it last year.
Honda should be strong, hopefully Barrichelo steps-up.
Kimmi has big shoes to fill.
Should be great.

Werd, but I really like this pewter color, it looks awesome. The orange Vodafone isn't working for the car, and neither are the pink and orange suits .

Just my 2 cents on the upcoming season.

I think most of the teams will continue their form from last year, there won't be any huge improvements, except maybe the Super Aguri team judging by the test times. They still won't contest for top 10 but they will be close if reliability is there.

Now, for the front runners. I think that Kimi and Ferrari are favorites for the title with Renault right behind them. I don't think Alonso/McLaren will do to well (although I love McLaren) just because McLaren had too many issues last year and I don't think they'll get them all sorted out for this season. Also I think Alonso, although he won last two titles, can not and did not prove he can drive under pressure like Kimi/Micheal can/did. Also, I never saw any Shumacher/Kimi/Montoya style overtaking from him. Renault is gonna continue in fine form and I'm really interested how Kovalainen is gonna do... probably better than Fisichella. Williams, Toyota, BMW, Honda and Red Bull with probably do the same as last year with maybe BMW improving a little over last year.

Again, Kimi is the favorite in my mind, although I'm not a Ferrari fan (and I hated Schumacher ever since he hit Damon Hill to steal a title from him).

Are you kidding? Did you see Alonso in the rain pass the entire field one by one last year on the most bizarre racing lines? He earned my respect in that race. I wasn't happy Alonso was joining McLaren until that race.

McLaren claims that Kimi is really hard on equipment, which is why they had so many failures. He only knows how to drive flat out. So we'll see if that's true, and if he kills off the Ferrari race after race.
