Default sitting in on a class @ UofC (acct 443)

just wondering if anyone has sat in on an entire course, after having dropped it... I'm thinking of dropping this course because I will not recieve credit for it- saves money and one less exam. After dropping, will I still have access to the course materials on BlackBoard?

My guess would be no because everything gets loaded up automatically onto blackboard, and if your id number isnt on the "list" then the course would probably not show up and same with all the materials and information.
but if you know someone in the class you could always ask them to allow you to go onto their blackboard.

i know a prof can ask you to leave if you are not enrolled

for the blackboard thing, i know that at mrc where profs are responsible for their own blackboard pages, some are either lazy or stupid and will forget to take you off the blackboard class list and you can access all the course materials, if the policy is the same at the u of c you may be in luck, but i'm led to believe that profs are not in control of their blackboard class lists

u wont lose access to it, i still have my first yr courses on my blackboard, they dont go away unless the prof removes u.

its like if u register late, uneed to go to the prof to have them add u to the course for blackboard b4 u can see it, same works in reverse.

Yeah exactly, I no longer go to MRC and still have access to some.

Mmmm, I don't think the profs control the class lists on blackboard.

I signed up for a block week course, and withdrew before the deadline and the course was removed from blackboard 2 days later.

Better just make friends with the hottie in the class. Two birds, man... Seriously, that's probably the best way. The course isn't guaranteed to stay on your Blackboard. If someone on the inside can hook you up, it's best. Kinda awkward but I don't think the prof or anyone can just "leave you on the list."

i think blackboard automatcially removes you if your not in the class anymore

it happened to me when i was changing my schedule around
the courses i droped were gone and the new courses i added were on my blackboard right away
