New Pics! Windshield tinted :D

Think you all kinda crush the guy's feeling, he was probably looking for a shock and aw.

Looks "cool" BTW (because not a lot of people have it on their BMW's)

But on the tinting tickets, let's hope that the person(s) you have any accidents with are STUPID not to notice such a thing. (if I ever get into an accident with ur ride and even if it's my fault, I'd definitely right that in my witness statement and let the cop know on the scene)

no shit, ill have to go and agree with the rest of the crew here and predict that you will be getting ticketed like no tomorrow. I had the side windows tinted on my truck and i had to get it taken off, i can't image what the cops are going to say to you when they pull you over. It looks okay, but if you have to take it off, have reduced visibility at night AND have to pay for tickets, you have to ask yourself.. was it really worth it?

It looks good, Mad stupid for not being able to see and ticket haven.

I had just my sides (and back obviously) done and sometimes on a dark road I would have to roll down my windows so I could sholder check.

I wont tint a car again.

First of all, if anyone you frequent www.e46fanatics.com, everyone there is completey different on their tinting choice.


When i first got in after getting it done, I saw no difference.

I will take it for a spin tonight and take a pic, this tint is so light, the angle of the windshield makes it look darker.

Hey mark what you doing today, you can see it for yourself and how dark it is not.

All the photos are taken in shade, if you didnt notice. I will take a pic in the sun. And at night.... It is very light.....

Sounds like a fantastic investment

Im not against tint though, dont get me wrong. I got 5% all round, but couldnt imagine how much harder and strenuous it would be to drive at night with my 'shield tinted.

I didnt even think of getting anything darker, that would be stupid. But imo, 40 is not.

personally i think it looks good and suits the car..its not like he took a sunfire and tinted the windsheild on that lol..but as for tickets it probly isnt the smartest idea if your trying to stay away from them lol well im sure your one of the only ones with a tinted windsheild in calgary..i guess its unique lol

Personally, I think that it looks stellar, I was actually contemplating getting mine tinted when I get it replaced...however I think 40% maybe be a bit too dark, I was personally looking at getting around 75-80% done so that it will at least be visible at night.

what would happen if you were in another accident, but god forbid the windshield took a hit, would that change the crash characteristics of it? also insurance voided with that?
