Default Problem with Gf's car. Need help

My g/f bought a 97 acura 1.6 EL from calgary and had it shipped to Ontario where shes goin to school. When it gets really cold there her car wont start. She added some fuel antifreeze and it still didnt start for a lil while but then it did. It will start with its warm out but if its been sitting over nite in the morning it wont start till it warms up. What could be causing this. She had the battery tested and its fine. Im goin there for reading week and need your guys opinions as to whats causing this.

Ontario is freaking MOIST, particularly when compared to AB.

Could be injectors are building condensation then freezing over, happened a few times to me when i lived in Ottawa. Tell her to run a fuel with a good gasline antifreeze in it. Petro 91 or something.

Edit:Oh, and have her turn the key into the on' position, without trying to start-it (all dashboard lights come on) 10 seconds before trying to crank - gives fuel pump a chance to pressurize the line.

does it crank? turn over but not start?

try the cap and rotor... my old integra did this too... when it was -30 out it wouldn't start just keeps turning over. Cap and rotor was worn so in cold cold temps the contact wasn't enough to create a good enough spark.

it's cheap too 20 dollar fix do it yourself in 5 minutes. Regular maintenance item anyways.

Try using a lighter oil. Keep more than half a tank of gas at all times. And make sure the battery has enough CCA's.

Check spark plugs too - make sure you DO NOT have Platinum plugs in there - those older cars were not designed to run on the Platinums.
