Default Sleeping pills??? good / bad need opinions

Alright so me and my friends are going to cancun for reading week with bustloose, and our flight leaves at 6am in the morning and the first night were there were going to coco bongo, sooooo needless to say im gonna be soo excited its going to be IMPOSSIBLE for me to sleep the night before the flight leaves.(and i have really broad shoulders and long legs so its IMPOSSIBLE to sleeep on the plane) Therefore Im considering popping a sleeping pill at like 7 and waking up at like 2am ish to give myself a good 7 hour rest but ive never taken a sleeping pill before and ive heard there highly addictive ect ect but i only plan on using them once and then getting rid of the rest so i dont tempt myslef haha, anyways im just wondering on brands prices and if you do or do not recomend them thanks once again beyond.

(as well ive read about gravol, does it really work that well?)

As a heads up, sleep on the plane man, using a sleeping pill will probably make you more tired OR oversleep and miss your flight all together. I took a sleeping pill when I was up North working, the beds were brutal and I hadn't had a good sleep all shift. Went into town and got some. I slept through my alarm clock for 4 hours!! So much for getting up at 5am hahah

Addictive I believe is the wrong term to use. It turns into a dependency issue and you rely on them heavily because you have finally had a good sleep.

I can't remember the brand I bought, just talk to the pharmacist at the drug store, they are more than qualified to help you out.

Yeah, There's a few OTC ones out there. The prescription only one is called Imovane (zopiclone). Never used them myself however.

I would stay away from the sleeping pills. Like everyone else said, they make you really groggy in the morning.

Try a benadryl as EK said or even try drinking some Neo Citran. It's meant to help you sleep. Works for everyone I know!

Whatever you do, make sure you have someone there to wake you up, just in case. And at least 8 hours of sleep....

Gravol. That makes you pretty drowsy. I had to take that stuff to play Call of Duty 2 cause otherwise, that game made me puke. But after 30 mins or so, I got super tired and had to go to bed.
You have a couple of photos that are great... you must be very good at photoshop!

    Worked good.

Have you tried decongestants? Anything with a decongestant will serve to knock you out.

You could always buy some and try one, but I would start off with half. Gravol doens't work for everyone BTW. Same with allergy meds. It makes some people hyper.

anyhow...any of those OTC stuff work pretty good, but I would totally start off with a half.

I am a terrible sleeper, I used to take sleeping pills to "help" me fall asleep. Like others have said, you wake up feeling groggy and just not "right." If I need to sleep I usually make a cup of neocitron, seems to knock me out within the hour...

Try Melatonin. No need for a prescription and it's not addictive, so they say.

I use it often, not everyday, but only when I really, really can't sleep. It relaxes your body and you sleep like a log. You wake up feeling refreshed and not groggy.
