i'm currently looking for G35 coupe and i see there is a option feature call Rear Active Steer.
anyone can explain what's that and is it good to get that?
i just worry this will end up become a 4WS like those old Honda's back in 90's.
thank you

The GMC (I think) pickups have it too, it's where the rear wheels turn about 10 degrees to help the vehicle have a tighter turn radius.

Except you have to turn that system on (only in reverse??). I think in the old ludes and this car it is always on and variable depending on speed.

my Lude has 4ws. It may only work on low speeds and parking but i wish all my cars had it! MY life is so stupid easy for parking. on another note i have heard this new Active Steer should be the same thing.
I will throw this in a well
"The handling and stability of the 2006 G35 coupe is further optimized by an available, new Infiniti Rear Active Steer system. Unlike passive rear steering systems, this design features motor-driven control. This system helps improve the vehicle’s handling performance by adjusting the rear suspension geometry according to steering input and vehicle speed."

I'm planning to remove the Super-HICAS from my ZTT. I couldn't believe it when I saw that Nissan was bringing a variation of it back.
