Has anyone lost a T4 before?

Hey guys i lost my T4 slip, and my employer only has the employer copy not a employee copy, am i screwed or what?

no just ask them to get another one, it will take awhile but they hve all the records on file

My former employer gave me an employer copy and it still worked when I did my taxes.

This happened to me a while back except I lost a whole years worth (a couple) of T-4s Call revenue Canada and have your S.I.N on hand. They can send you copies in the mail within 5 business days

It is as easy as your employer taking a photocopy of their copy. No need for it to be an "official" copy.

Photocopy worked for me once. I found the original a year later.
