I'm too cheap to spend $40 on something like that, but I have bought knock off body caps off ebay for pinhole photography.
Just drill a hole through the body cap, cover the hole with tin foil, then poke a little hole into it (as small as you can). Only costs like $4-5 after shipping. Some people on ebay sell like 5 caps for $10'ish, so the added bonus is you'll have extra caps laying around in case you screw up or lose your original one.
The only benefit of the $40 ones is that they are laser prescision.
What do you think of pinhole photography?? Seems to have a more 'artistic' result.

I've tried all the pinhole caps and slit caps at the camera store.
I find the lazer drilled pinholes are actually too large and don't seem to create as pleasing an effect as a smaller hole punched into a thin piece of metal.
slower than you...
I've seen some really cool stuff done with pinhole cameras, but I've never gotten anything too neat myself. Maybe it's time to try again.Originally posted by Ferio_vti

yeah, that's what I thought too. Just poking the tip of a needle through some tin foil gives a hole that's quite a bit smaller than those expensive laser ones.Originally posted by Obscura
